Christmas ideas using PaintShopProGingham background.
Make background by drawing horizontal stripes across page on new layer using round brush and wet look checked to give edge to stripe. Hold shift key 
to draw straight lines.
Duplicate stripe layer and rotate through 90°.
Apply multiply blend mode.
Merge these two layers and apply weave effect from effects menu>texture effects>weave to the coloured layer.
Use selection tools to cut out shapes from background.
Labels
Make a basic label using a grid and brush
tools. Fill with colour and select with magic wand. Save selection in selections menu.
Use the patterns in the Materials pallet or make up your own and add text as a separate layer.
Load selection and position on your “page”.
Copy and paste as new image.
Use print layout and Avery templates to repeat image.

Snowflakes
Use the kaleidoscope effect to make snowflakes and then make them into a brush tip.
Use the snowflake brush with variance on size and rotation.

I don't know what has happend but Blogger will not recognise me as the owner of this site and they seem unable to fix it. I am trying this to see if I can communicate this way.
